GODDESS ATHENA

Parthenon, the grand and glorious temple of the maiden goddess, Athena. Towering above the city of Athens symbolizes for the Athenians and all Hellenes the very embodiment of the protector Goddess and a votive offering to her in gratitude for her greatness, gifts and protection. 

Parthenon pre-exists, since each of us stores in his/her heart an inner need for magnificence and glory. In classical Hellenic antiquity, temples and sculptures were offered as gifts to the Gods. The sculptures echo their strong wish to return back home and Karyatids'cries sound louder than ever.   

Struggling for survival, we daily face the danger of losing our identity, cultural memories, the roots of Hellenic history, our heritage and pride.
