ONE DAY IN RED
SUMMARY
A girl is given birth in a volcano. She grows up playing with the young warriors of the courtyard who teach her ride well and use the arc. One Day, she is selected by the magician of the Palace among all children as the “Princess of Fire”, that one day will govern the Palace in peace. For this aim, she is kept away from the other people and spends her time discussing philosophical matters with the magician. Fortunately, near of her stands her faithful friend, named Korallia, distant descendant of mermaid Arsjnoi, and Pyrros, the faithful warlord, devoted to Illia since his childhood and being selected to handle the management of the army.
The Magician asks Illia to study daily in order to develop a peace book according to which the world will become more peaceful. Despite the strict protocol accomplishes, Illia manages to steal some time, goes for dives, writes poems and is dreaming of the years that she was playing like all other children. Nevertheless, the magician presses her and implores her to finish the book for the shake of the humanity the soonest possible.
To finish the peace book, unwillingly she begins to collect materials from the palace libraries, a very boring and exhausting procedure. She is ready to collapse and stop her efforts, when really surprised among the dusty books she discovers an ancient book with a drawing image of a flame on its cover that resembles her amazingly. She reads about some - forgotten in the time –games that had their origin in a small country, (Greece) and during their held the wars were ceased. There were also games for kids! She felt inspired to learn that an ancient flame was lighting in the holly forest of Altis.
One day, the Magician leaves the palace for a long travel warning her that upon his arrival she will be examined by the Magicians club to check her progress. Illia is taking the risk to discover the genuine happiness and the real meaning of life through the human communication. Inspired by the ancient model, and cooperating with the children, she organizes a series of sport and artistic activities for the children, makes receptions and invites everybody in an Exceptional Party Ceremony in the Palace. She realizes that the true meaning of love and peace can be revealed in simple daily things. Only communicating with the other people and especially with the children and giving them the chance to participate and express their options, a better society could be created. When the magician returns the princess is not feared any more of the examination. The only thing she is caring is the smile of their little friends who are waiting anxiously to participate in the Big kingdom sport festival presenting a rollers skating show!
A fairy tale that speaks to the heart. An adventure devoted to love and friendship, equality and diversity, to the need that we all have to communicate and collaborate.
